If you exhibit any of the following symptoms, they may be due to allergies:

  • Nasal congestion
  • Runny nose
  • Sneezing
  • Itchy and/or watery eyes
  • Post-nasal drip
  • Wheezing and/or shortness of breath
  • Coughing
  • Fatigue
  • Headache (particularly around the sinuses)
  • Sore throat
  • Itching (Pruritus)
  • Hives (Urticaria)
  • Swelling episodes
  • Rashes
  • Snoring
  • Decreased sense of taste and/or smell

Procedures and services performed by our physicians include:

  • Skin testing
  • Blood testing
  • Pulmonary function testing (PFT’s; Breathing tests)
  • Allergy Immunotherapy (Allergy injections) for indoor and outdoor allergies
  • Allergy Immunotherapy (Allergy injections) for stinging insect allergies (e.g. bees, wasps, yellow jackets, and hornets)
  • Patch testing to help identify reason for contact dermatitis and skin rashes
  • Food allergy testing
  • Penicillin skin testing
  • Oral challenges for foods and medications
  • Testing for ”numbing” medications (“Caine” testing) such as Novocaine, Lidocaine, etc. commonly used in dental and surgical procedures
  • Latex allergy testing
  • Xolair (omalizumab) injections for eligible asthmatics and patients with chronic hives (urticaria)
  • Nucala (mepolizumab) injections for eligible asthmatics
  • Demonstrating the correct method on how to use asthma inhalers, peak flow meters, and spacers
  • Demonstrating the correct method on how to use an EpiPen, Auvi-Q, and/or Adrenaclick self-injectable devices
  • Testing for vaccine allergies such as the Flu (Influenza) vaccine followed by its subsequent administration
  • Immune system testing
  • Vaccination administration for the pneumococcal vaccine (“pneumonia shot”) (e.g., Pneumovax, Prevnar 13)
